Message You can get close to 400RWHP without race fuel, but it hasn't been done yet to my knowledge. I made 387RWHP on pump fuel with my car, single intake, and stock intercoolers - then later in that same dyno session I made 413RWHP on race fuel (with single intake and stock ICs).

It is possible to do if you were to have cams and portwork done, dual-intake, oversized intake and exhaust valves and tubular manifolds would likely deliver the 400RWHP on pump fuel. The thing is, most people going to that length wouldn't consider putting stock turbos on the car unless they have a fetish with seeing just how much you can squeeze out of the engine with stock turbos.

I think if I were to do it over again with stock turbos, my original NA engine to TT engine conversion would have consisted of the things I mentioned above, with the exception of the exhaust manifolds - I would have just ported my stock manifolds in that case and saved some cash.

I do recall that when I was tuning my car that day on pump fuel I wasn't squeezing the engine as much as I could have. My pump-fuel runs were to show the difference between stock gutted midpipes and GD's testpipes. I made an average of 17HP more by only changing the testpipes in that session (I changed the midpipes to testpipes while the car was on the dyno) and I didnt' want to squeeze the car too much as you begin introducing more variability in the power output as engine temperature changes.

Cliffnotes: It hasn't been done yet, but I think it is possible.
